Mesothelioma is a form of lung cancer, predominantly caused by exposure to asbestos fibers In fact, mesothelioma is a cancer of the mesothelium, the sheath that covers major organs such as the lungs (pleurum), the heart (pericardium) and the abdominal cavity (peritoneum)
